The Supreme Court has issued notice to Rajasthan government education officials seeking their reply as to why contempt action not be initiated against them for non-compliance of its 2019 order, directing reimbursement of 70 per cent of salary paid to teachers of a government-aided school which was shut in 2011. A bench of Justices RF Nariman, B R Gavai and Hrishikesh Roy said, ''Absolutely they have done nothing'' and issued notice on the contempt plea filed by a trust, which used to manage a school, and sought the response from the officials within four weeks. ''Issue notice, returnable in four weeks. Personal presence of the alleged contemnor(s) is dispensed with for the time being,'' the bench said in its order passed on May 6.

Rajasthan: Govt teachers not included in list of Covid warriors
JAIPUR: Among the 18 categories of professionals who have been included in the list of Covid warriors by the state government, teachers have been excluded.

नई दिल्ली, मई 7। कोरोना महामारी के कारण भारतीय सेना की कॉमन एंट्रेस परीक्षा (राजस्थान रीजन) को अगले आदेश तक स्थगित कर दिया गया है। शुक्रवार को भारतीय सेना की तरफ से इस बात की जानकारी दी गई। आपको बता दें कि ये भर्ती परीक्षा 30 मई को आयोजित होनी थी, लेकिन कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों की वजह परीक्षा आयोजित कर पाना बहुत मुश्किल लग रहा था। बता दें कि राजस्थान में ये परीक्षा जयपुर और जोधपुर में आयोजित होनी थी।

जयपुर। राजस्थान प्रदेश में राजमेस सोसायटी के अधीन संचालित 7 नए चिकित्सा महाविद्यालयों में प्रोफेसरों और चिकित्सकों के 105 पदों पर जल्द ही भर्ती होगी। मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने गुरुवार को इन महाविद्यालयों में नवीन पदों का सृजन करने और इन पदों पर जल्द-से-जल्द भर्ती करने के प्रस्ताव का अनुमोदन कर दिया है।
